Serena Malfi was born in Aversa, Italy and studied at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome. She debuted as Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Zurich during 2009/2010 and took part in concert performances of La Wally and Catarina Cornaro at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. In July 2010 she debuted as Angelina in La Cenerentola at the Wildbad Festival after performing Ferdinando in Pergolesi’s Il Flaminio at the Jesi Pergolesi Festival in June in Italy. Future engagements include Zerlina in Don Giovanni at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées, Paris and Annio in La Clemenza di Tito at the Teatro Real Madrid.
